Gasum partners with Samskip for LNG bunkering

Finland’s Gasum has partnered with Rotterdam-based shipping company Samskip that will allow the latter to bunker liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Risavika, Norway.

Samskip is the owner of two single-fuel vessels, Samskip Kvitbjorn and Samskip Kvitnos, which are LNG-powered.

Gasum’s LNG plant is located approximately 200m from the quayside, which allows fresh and cold LNG to be bunkered in a fast and safe manner from the plant.
