Dubai-based Tristar Group is starting to implement its US$166 million contract with Shell, following the delivery of a new chemical tanker from South Korean shipyard, Hyundai Mipo Dockyard. Solar Sharna was handed over on June 15th, on schedule despite the impact of Corona virus, with the completion being undertaken remotely using video conferencing, in a first for the group. Tristar was expected to take delivery of a sister vessel, Solar Nesrin, on June 30th.
