COSCO Signs $552m Worth LNG Shipbuilding Contract

Cosco has placed an order for three LNG carriers at Hudong Zhonghua, reports Splash 247.

China Cosco Shipping has  ordered for the construction of three 174,000 cu m LNG carriers at CSSC-affiliated Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding.

• The vessels will adopt Hudong Zhonghua’s “Chang Xing” LNG carrier design. 
• Vessels are expected to be delivered in 2022.
