Pacific operators Hapag and CMA ships suffer engine failures

The 9,000TEU MV Czech, operated by Hapag-Lloyd, but owned by Turkey-based Czech Maritime, has suffered engine failure as the vessel entered Ningbo Port, according to the German carrier.

The vessel operates on the Pacific South Loop (PS6), “experienced an engine issue upon completion of berthing in Ningbo during voyage 101E,” the line reported.
