Saudi ports have witnessed a significant rate of growth in cargo throughput tonnage during the first quarter of 2022, increasing by 7.18% to a total of more than 74 million tons compared with the first three months of 2021. The number of transshipment containers increased by 5.91% to a total of 1.3 million TEU, contributing significantly to the overall upturn.
