Finnish technology company Wärtsilä has received an order from Norway-based Knutsen OAS Shipping for the delivery of a further three Compact Reliq reliquefaction plants.
With the latest contract, Wärtsilä’s orders from this customer have reached eight in total, with two received in 2020 and three received last year.
The reliquefaction plants will be installed on eight new liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier vessels, which are currently being constructed for Knutsen OAS.
