SAUDI Arabia’s port sector registered a 15.33 per cent jump in container handling to 694,517 TEU in October, compared to 602,210 TEU in the same year-ago period. The sector registered a 17.75 per cent rise in exported boxes at 202,030 TEU, 23.02 per cent growth in imported containers and 8.49 per cent increase in transshipments during the month, Saudi Ports Authority reported.
