Wärtsilä to equip four new Pacific International Lines boxships

Wärtsilä has received a contract to provide the liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuel gas supply systems (FGSS), propulsion control systems (PCS), and alarm monitoring and control systems (MCS) for four new LNG dual-fuel container ships.

The 8,200 twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) vessels are being constructed for Singapore-based Pacific International Lines (PIL) at the Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding yard in China.
