Purus Wind subsidiary HST Marine has taken delivery of a new hybrid-electric crew transfer vessel (CTV), named HST Frances, from Diverse Marine.
HST Frances is the company’s second hybrid electric CTV built in the UK.
The 25m vessel has the capacity to accommodate between 12 and 24 industrial personnel.
It features a hybrid electric propulsion system that is said to reduce fuel usage by 30% compared to similar CTVs driven by diesel engines.
