Japanese container shipping company Ocean Network Express (ONE) has ordered ten new container ships that will feature a bow cover and other energy-saving technologies.
Expected to be delivered between 2025 and 2026, the new large vessels will have a carrying capacity of more than 13,700 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs).
The new vessels will be designed to operate on methanol and ammonia.
