Cathay’s April cargo volume up 7pc yoy but down 13pc from March

HONG Kong’s Cathay Pacific carried 117,428 tonnes of cargo in April, an increase of 7.4 per cent compared with the same month last year. The month’s cargo revenue tonne kilometres (RFTKs) decreased 0.4 per cent year on year. The cargo load factor decreased by 4.2 percentage points to 59.5 per cent, while available cargo tonne kilometres (AFTKs) increased by 6.6 per cent year on year.
