«Ασανσέρ» ο BDI

Η μεταβλητότητα στη spot αγορά των bulk carriers συνεχίζεται, με τον κύριο δείκτη της ναυλαγοράς χύδην ξηρού φορτίου BDI να καταγράφει πτώση στη σκιά της μείωσης των ναύλων στα επιμέρους μεγέθη bulk carriers.

Ειδικότερα, ο BDI διαμορφώθηκε στις 1.456 μονάδες την Δευτέρα 27 Μαρτίου, αφότου κατέγραψε πτώση 33 μονάδων (2,2%). Εντός του Μαρτίου, ο δείκτης έχει σημειώσει σημαντική μεταβλητότητα, ξεκινώντας με μια επιμένουσα ανοδική πορεία από τις αρχές του μήνα μέχρι και τα μέσα του και ακολουθώντας...

Αυγουστιάτικη «τρικυμία» για τον BDI 

Σε σκοπέλους συνεχίζει να προσκρούει η ναυλαγορά των bulk carriers όπως προκύπτει από την πορεία του Baltic Dry Index, του βασικού δείκτη της ναυλαγοράς των πλοίων μεταφοράς ξηρού φορτίου.

Ο BDI την Τετάρτη 31 Αυγούστου υποχώρησε κατά 52 μονάδες ή 5,1% στις 965 μονάδες, απόρροια κυρίως της μειωμένης ζήτησης για bulk carriers και δη Capesizes. Μάλιστα, ο BDI σημείωσε τον Αύγουστο τη μεγαλύτερη μηνιαία πτώση εδώ και πάνω από δύο χρόνια, καταγράφοντας απώλειες 50%. Είναι ο τρίτος διαδοχικός μήνας...
