The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) is laying out $1 billion in the latest round of a competitive grant program that began in 2009 for freight projects.

SCPA using BUILD monies to pave way for Walmart distribution center

The South Carolina Ports Authority (SCPA) has received $21.68 million in funding it says is crucial for development of Walmart’s planned import distribution center.

Federal grants awarded to improve freight rail and multimodal traffic flows
