On the night of December 13, two ships collided in the waters of the North Passage Channel of the Yangtze River Estuary. 

At 23:35 on December 13, 2020, a container ship “OCEANA” collided with the container ship “Xinqisheng 69” near the light buoy D15 of the North Channel Channel of the Yangtze River Estuary. Due to a main engine failure, “Xinqisheng” The 69″ sank in water.

Containership MAERSK LAUNCESTON collided with Greek Navy minesweeper KALLISTO at 0740 UTC Oct 27 while leaving Piraeus, Greece, bound for Canakkale, Turkey.
