«Taíno» το όνομα του νέου πλοίου της Crowley Maritime

Τελετή ονοματοδοσίας πραγματοποιήθηκε την Παρασκευή 22 Φεβρουαρίου για το νεότευκτο container/roll on-roll off (ConRo) πλοίο «MV Taíno» της Crowley Maritime στο Σαν Χουάν του Πουέρτο Ρίκο.

Το «MV Taíno» θα φέρει αμερικανική σημαία, έχει μήκος 219,5 μέτρα και μεταφορική ικανότητα 2.400 ΤΕUs ενώ πρόκειται για το αδελφό πλοίο του MV El Coquí, το οποίο ναυπηγήθηκε το 2018. Να σημειωθεί ότι το «MV Taíno» αποτελεί ένα από τα πρώτα του είδους του που καταναλώνει LNG.

Crowley Maritime has announced a double appointment, with the promotion of Tiffany King (pictured) and Jeannie Stewart as vice presidents of people services.
