ZIM starts new Asia – South America service

The Israeli shipping line ZIM has launched a new service called Ase, connecting Asia with South America.

The new monthly service provides a direct connection between South China and South America with the following rotation: DaChan Bay – Santos – Itapoa – Buenos Aires – DaChan Bay.

Ase service is offering a transit time from DaChan Bay to Santos, Itapoa and Buenos Aires of 32, 34, and 35 days, respectively.

DaChan Bay Terminals welcomes new OOCL’s service

On 25 February afternoon, the arrival of OOCL Guangzhou at DaChan Bay marks the commencement of the Japan Indonesia Service KTX3 calling at DaChan Bay Terminals on its south bound routing.

“The inclusion of DaChan Bay in the KTX3 service provides more choice to shippers,” commented Brian Yeung, Managing Director of DaChan Bay Terminals.

The KTX3 service is operated by Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) with four Panamax vessels.
