Tesla’s electric vehicle factory in Mexico could be delayed

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the company’s Gigafactory Mexico project is facing pressure from interest rates and the global economy.

During the company’s third-quarter earnings call with analysts Wednesday, Musk said the company is currently laying the groundwork for construction of the factory near Monterrey, Mexico.

Tesla rolls out 1st production electric Cybertruck in Texas

After two years of delays, automaker Tesla announced over the weekend the production of its first Cybertruck electric pickup at its factory in Austin, Texas.

Tesla delivers fleet of Semi trucks to Pepsi facility in California

Tesla this week delivered a fleet of Semi trucks to PepsiCo in California as the automaker slowly ramps up production orders of its long-delayed all-electric Class 8 vehicle to customers.

It’s unclear exactly how many trucks Tesla delivered in California on Tuesday. According to media reports, PepsiCo will use 21 Semi trucks at a Sacramento bottling plant for local deliveries, while another 15 will be used by PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay manufacturing plant in Modesto.
