CIMAC calls for wide cross-sector collaboration to cut shipping emissions

Maltese shipyard to equip three ferries with scrubbers

Palumbo Malta Shipyard has secured a €6 million international contract to equip scrubbers to three ro-ro passenger ferries, ahead of the 2020 sulphur cap regulation. The contract regards the conversion of existing spaces on the ships, as well as underwater modification.
