Leading maritime software, services and data analytics company NAPA, classification society ClassNK, and shipbuilding company Japan Marine United (JMU) have completed a joint feasibility study on 3D model-based plan approval (3D MBA) using 3D CAD models.

JMU To Build LNG Bunker Vessel

  • Japan Marine United (JMU) will construct a new LNG bunkering ship.
  • The LNG Bunkering ship will also be capable of carrying low-sulphur fuel oil.
  • The vessel will have an LOA of 95.57 metres, a width of 15.8 metres, a draught of 4.4 metres, and a total cargo tank capacity of 4,100 tonnes of LNG.
