General cargo ship ran onto the breakwater while entering Toyama Port, reports Maritime Bulletin.

General cargo ship ASUKA MARU ran onto the breakwater while entering Toyama Port, Honshu, Japan sea. The incident happened at around 0330 Tokyo time Oct 21. 

The ship was taken off breakwater by tug at around 0830 Tokyo time, and berthed in Toyama. 

According to reports:

• Bulbous bow was breached and dented
• No water ingress.
