KNOT Offshore Partners LP announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, KNOT Shuttle Tankers AS, has agreed to acquire KNOT Shuttle Tankers 34 AS, the company that owns the shuttle tanker, Tove Knutsen, from Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers AS (“KNOT”).

KNOT Signs Charter Contract with Total

NYK Group company Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers AS (KNOT), has concluded a time-charter contract with Total for a Suezmax shuttle tanker, reports Baird Maritime.

What is in the contract?

KNOT and Total have entered into a time-charter contract for a maximum 15-year period starting from 2021 for a Suezmax shuttle tanker.

The contract aims to use a 152,000 DWT DP-equipped vessel to shuttle crude oil produced in waters off Brazil.
