Maersk extends Transatlantic winter plan

Maersk has launched a winter schedule for its North Europe to North America routes from the end of 2021 due to the severity of the weather across the Atlantic, in an effort to minimise disruptions and enhance reliability.

Maersk targets Transpacific market with enhanced network

Maersk will start a new Transpacific East Coast service with the name TP18 in an effort to respond to the increased cargo demand and to improve schedule reliability.

The new weekly service will primarily deploy 4,500 TEU vessels, calling at the ports of Vung Tau, Yantian, Ningbo and Shanghai with a Panama Canal transit and direct connections to Houston and Norfolk.
