OOCL warns of fraudulent activities

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced that it recently observed an increase infraudulent activities and has warned that fraudsters can hack email accounts, and by all possible means cheat victims to make remittances.

“Fraudsters can attempt to defraud remittances through the unauthorised use of the OOCL name via email correspondences, informing the victim to change the payment receiving bank account number to one owned by the fraudster,” explains the company in its announcement.

OOCL replaces Savannah with Charleston in its ATM1 service

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced a temporary replacement of the Port of Savannah with the Port of Charleston in the ​Atlantic Mediterranean Express (ATM1).

“Our Atlantic Mediterranean Express (ATM1) service will begin calling Charleston, Wando Welch Terminal instead of Savannah, for a period of six weeks,” said the COSCO-owned box line.

The updated port rotation will commence with the 8,488TEU CMA CGM Traviata, which is estimated to call Charleston on 27 November.

OOCL’s Q3 revenues exceed US$4.3 billion

COSCO-owned Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has registered strong gains in the financial sector for the third quarter of the year.

OOCL reports skyrocketing first half figures

Orient Overseas International Limited (OOIL), which owns the container carrier Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), has published its financial and operational results for the first half (H1) of 2021, representing the best six-monthly results in the Group’s history with spikes in all sectors.
