Paramount Maritime launches advanced 35 meter Sentinel vessel

In a move unlikely to be welcomed by Gulf of Guinea pirates, South Africa’s Paramount Maritime recently christened the 35 meter Sentinel class patrol vessel MV Tuguemi at a ceremony in Cape Town, marking the the second inauguration of the latest 35 meter Sentinel within a few months.

Metal Shark gets $36 million mod to NAVSEA patrol vessel contract

The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., has awarded Jeanerette, La., headquartered shipbuilder Metal Shark a $36,195,438 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

The modification establishes fiscal 2022 and fiscal 2023 pricing for Near Coastal Patrol Vessels (NCPVs) Seven through Ten, and accompanying outfitting, testing, spares, tools, travel, reactivation, crew familiarization, exportation, and transportation.

Nigeria’s Homeland Integrated Offshore Services Adds Damen Patrol Vessels To Its Fleet

HOMELAND INTEGRATED OFFSHORE SERVICES OF NIGERIA ADDS TO ITS FLEET OF DAMEN 3307 PATROL

Damen Shipyards Group and Homeland Integrated Offshore Services of Lagos have signed a contract in Singapore for the delivery of two additional Damen 3307 Patrol Vessels. This further increases the total number of these vessels in the Homeland fleet with the first ordered in 2014 and the most recent deliveries being three vessels over the course of 2018.
