The number of incidents in April. A total of seven incidents (all actual incidents) were reported in Asia in April 2021. All were incidents of armed robbery against ships. There was no piracy incident. Of the seven incidents, five incidents occurred to ships underway in the Singapore Strait (SS), one incident onboard a ship berthed at MOT Terminal, Sandakan, East Malaysia and one incident onboard a ship anchored in Manila Bay, the Philippines.

Cyprus Shipping Condemns Piracy Crisis in GoG
