Box traffic at Container Terminal St.Petersburg in 2018 rose 12%

CONTAINER THROUGHPUT OF CTSP IN 2018 GREW BY 12% 

In 2018, Container Terminal Saint-Petersburg CJSC (CTSP, member of UCL Holding) handled 722,000 TEUs, 12% more than in 2017.

In the reporting period, exports totaled 373,600 TEUs, a 5-percent gain on 2017 figures. Imports grew by 21% y-o-y to 348,500 TEUs.

In May, the terminal handed 73,000 TEUs, which is a record monthly result of CTSP.

In 2018, the number of calls totaled 540 with average shipload of 1,337 TEUs (up 27% versus 1,087 TEUs in 2017).

Maersk Line, Winter Surcharge Fee

Maersk Line is introducing a Winter Surcharge Fee (WSC) applicable to all import cargo into Saint Petersburg and Ust-Luga due to increase in operational costs during winter season, effective from 1st December, 2018 until further notice

The surcharge amount is:

USD 75 /150 / 150 for 20’/40/45’ (both DRY and REEF)
