Swissterminal announces new direct connections to Rotterdam and Antwerp

Swissterminal, a European operator of terminal, port and inland service networks, has announced the expansion of its offering from Switzerland to Antwerp in Belgium and Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

From 2023 the new service, Schweizerzug, is expected to offer four round trips a week from Frenkendorf, Switzerland and two round trips a week from Niederglatt, Switzerland to Antwerp, while three round trips a week will be available for customers from the two regions in Switzerland to Rotterdam.

Swissterminal launches Belgium – France rail connection

The integrated logistics provider Swissterminal has expanded its Schweizerzug rail product portfolio by adding a new service between the Belgian port of Antwerp and Ottmarsheim in France to offer new transport opportunities to the three-country point of France, Switzerland and Germany.

Swissterminal starts fully electricity operations in Switzerland

Swissterminal AG has begun to operate its terminal sites in Switzerland with 100% renewable electricity in a framework to achieve net-zero emissions from its entire operations.

Swissterminal begins operations in France

The Swiss port operator, Swissterminal will officially take over the operation of three inland ports in the Alsace region, in Ottmarsheim, Huningue and Ile Napoléon, from 1 July. The three French ports will be operated through Alsaceterminal SAS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Swissterminal AG.
