The Suez Canal is set to resume operations today after the 20,388 teu Ever Given was re-floated overnight, reports the Loadstar.

Container Spot Rates Tumble Lowering the SCFI Index

Shanghai Containerized Freight Index (SCFI) saw container spot rates tumble across the board on September 20, reports The Loadstar.

This resulted in the SCFI comprehensive index losing a further 4.1% points to 734, which is some 18% below the level of a year ago.
