Canadian health care logistics provider Andlauer Healthcare Group (AHG) has agreed to acquire most of a small pharmaceutical trucking company, Skelton Truck Lines, for nearly CA$115 million ($91 million) in a deal that reflects the high premiums associated with the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines in Canada and the United States.

Split screen of UPS jumbo jet on left and FedEx cargo plane on right, with Operation Warp Speed logo down the middle. It's all about COVID vaccine delivery.

U.S. Army Gen. Gus Perna is not one to be awestruck by a well-executed logistics plan. But he’s enamored with FedEx Corp.’s and UPS’ performance during the first week of distribution for Pfizer Inc.’s (NYSE: PFE) COVID-19 vaccine.

The military is a no-excuses, bottom-line world: Get the job done. And Perna has spent years helping manage the Defense Department’s massive logistics requirements, most recently as commander of Army Materiel Command. He also logged time at the Pentagon as Army deputy...
