The first direct shipping service connecting Omani ports and Iraq’s Umm Qasr port has been launched by the Asyad group.
Initially a weekly link will be provided between Salalah, Duqm and Sohar and Umm Qasr, with the aim of increasing the volume of intra-regional trade, and opening up mutual investment prospects.
