DP World’s Jebel Ali Port recently shipped four large polyethylene reactors, the biggest weighing 227 tons, to Rotterdam in collaboration with the CMA CGM group. The shipment was handled with the help of a floating crane from Drydocks World, a DP World Company, and was loaded on two consecutive sailings. The execution of this project demonstrates the UAE port’s ability to meet the growing demand for heavy lift and project cargo, regardless of the size or weight, DP World points out.
