June container volume at Port Houston totaled 323,823 TEU, an 11% increase compared to the same month last year, marking the largest June in its history for containers.
This is the fifth month this year with a double-digit increase over 2021, a record year for Port Houston’s container volume.
Year-to-date, Port Houston has handled two million TEU, specifically 1,897,065 TEU, an 18% increase compared to 2021.
