Port Houston announced the arrival of six hybrid-electric rubber-tired gantry (RTG) cranes, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency.
With this latest delivery, the US port has acquired a total of 26 new RTGs since December 2023, which have been deployed across its Barbours Cut and Bayport Container Terminals. This delivery is the fourth of five scheduled for this year.
