The China Classification Society (CCS), which has a growing presence in the Middle East through its Dubai base, has announced that it has reached an important milestone in providing classification services to vessels totalling over 200 million gross tons. This landmark was reached when it issued a survey certificate for the 14,100TEU container vessel COSCO Shipping Mexico.This achievement reflects CCS’s continued improvement since exceeding 100 million gross tons in 2016.
