St. Johns Ship Building delivers second Windea CTV

St. Johns Ship Building, Palatka, Fla., has delivered the Windea Enterprise, the second of the three Jones Act-compliant Incat Crowther 30 meters crew transport vessels (CTV) ordered at the shipyard by Windea CTV, LLC, a partnership of Hornblower Wind and MidOcean Wind.

The vessel is the third CTV to be delivered by St. Johns within six months. Two more are in production for delivery this year

Pilot LNG partners up with Seapath for Galveston Bay LNG bunkering hub

Houston-based Pilot LNG LLC is moving ahead on its plans for a Galveston Bay LNG bunkering hub. It has now formed a joint venture with Seapath, a maritime subsidiary of the Logothetis family’s New York City headquartered Libra Group, to develop, construct, and operate the facility.

St. Johns Ship Building under new ownership

Americraft Marine, a maritime subsidiary of the Logothetis family’s Libra Group, has announced the acquisition of St. Johns Ship Building. Based in Palatka, Florida near Jacksonville, the shipyard specializes in the new construction and repair of a wide variety of steel and aluminum vessels, including ferries, tugs, deck and tank barges, landing crafts, and general cargo vessels. Its most recent orders include two 30-meter, hybrid-ready Incat Crowther designed offshore wind CTVs.
