APM Terminals Callao: Green transformation with renewable energy and new leadership

Maersk-owned global port and terminal operator APM Terminals (APMT) has announced that its terminal in Peru, APMT Callao, is on pace to reduce its emissions by 36% in 2024, 55% in 2030 and be a zero-emission terminal by 2040.

APMT Callao has proceeded with several decarbonisation initiatives, including the utilisation of renewable energy, improved energy efficiency and equipment electrification.
