PSA Cargo Solutions and BDP International form new brand

PSA International’s business unit, PSA Cargo Solutions (Cargo Solutions) will combine with PSA’s subsidiary BDP International to form a new brand, named PSA BDP.

The new company will be led by Mike Andaloro who will serve as PSA BDP’s CEO. At the same time, he will lead the new company’s Sales and Operations.

Earlier in April 2022, PSA International bought BDP and the new PSA BDP brand aims to blend the complementary strengths and capabilities of both companies.

PSA acquires 2nd Port of Halifax container terminal

With its acquisition of Ceres Halifax, PSA International will operate two container terminals in Nova Scotia, Canada.

PSA announced late last week that it had acquired the Fairview Cove terminal at the Port of Halifax from Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha. It already owned the Atlantic Hub terminal, which it acquired in 2019, and will operate both facilities as PSA Halifax.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Mega port operator PSA to buy US freight forwarder BDP

PSA International, a global port operator owned by the Singaporean government, said Wednesday it has agreed to acquire Philadelphia-based freight management company BDP International, building on the trend of asset-based transportation providers expanding to offer customers an end-to-end logistics services.

PSA inks acquisition agreement for BDP International

The global port and terminal operator PSA International has signed an agreement to completely acquire the shares of the privately-held BDP International, from New York-based private equity firm Greenbriar Equity Group (Greenbriar).

MODE Transportation announced Wednesday that Lance Malesh has been appointed president and chief executive officer of the company.
