Vigor delivers two new pilot boats to Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Pilot Service has ordered two customized 56′ Camarc Design pilot boats built by Vigor Industrial at its Vancouver, Wash. facility, located on the northern side of the Columbia River. The LA Pilot Service took delivery of the Angels Pilot and Angels Navigator at Vigor’s shipyard on Swan Island in Portland, Ore. in early October.

Mackay Marine was hand selected by Vigor to be its marine electronics integration expert for both vessels providing high-end Furuno navigation systems...

Safe Boats adds three more vessels to FDNY fleet

Safe Boats International (SAFE), Seattle, delivered boats 17, 18 and 19 to the marine division of the New York Fire Department during the month of August. Since 2006 Safe has built and delivered a variety of boats to FDNY ranging in size from a 27′ full cabin vessel with firefighting equipment all the way up to the 64′ Bravest with three separate fire pump stations that went into service in 2011.

Armstrong Marine delivers two dive boats to Hawaii

The 32’x13′, high-tunnel catamaran dive vessels Amelia and Johan recently arrived in Honokohau Harbor in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Built by Port Angeles, Wash.-based Armstrong Marine USA for Aquatic Life Divers, the shipyard worked closely on the project with Pacific Boats and Yachts.
