OMSA adds four CEOs to its board

The Offshore Marine Service Association (OMSA) reports that four CEOs have joined its board of directors: Wes Bordelon, CEO, Bordelon Marine; Stacy Jo Stanley, CEO, Offshore Oil Services, Inc.; David Dantin, CEO Odyssea Marine; and Lasse Petterson, CEO, Great Lakes Dredge and Dock.

OMSA says that with the addition of these four executive leaders, it is paying homage to its roots while welcoming expanded opportunities in emerging energy frontiers.

Bordelon Marine extends charter agreement with Helix

Lockport, La., headquartered Bordelon Marine LLC has signed a two-year extension of its charter of the M/V Shelia Bordelon to Helix Robotics Solutions, the U.S. robotics division of Helix Energy Solutions Group, Inc. (NYSE: HLX).

Geophysical work underway at Virginia offshore wind site

A pair of Gulf of Mexico OSVs are at work off Virginia, conducting geophysical studies on a 112,800-acre federal lease where Dominion Energy and offshore wind developer Ørsted plan to build a 2,600-megawatt turbine array beginning in 2024.
