Basrah project completed by heavy lift alliance

When the heavy lift vessel Svenjadischarged its cargo of nine modules last month, it marked the completion of the JSI Alliance’s involvement in the Basrah Refinery upgrade project for JGC Corporation. The Alliance, which comprises Jumbo, SAL and Intermarine, dedicated two vessels to the project, with Jumbo Kineticjoining Svenja,to transport a total of 84 modules between Nantong, in China, and Iraq, using JCG’s specially designed lifting frame.

Fujairah Terminals handles gas turbines for power plant project

Tank storage portfolio investment by Tristar

Tristar Transport, the UAE-based integrated energy logistics group, is acquiring a 51% stake in HG Storage International (HGSI) from Madison Pacific Trust, as holder of a security interest granted by HNA Innovation Finance Group (HNA). Jebel Ali completes heavy lift shipment

DP World’s Jebel Ali Port recently shipped four large polyethylene reactors, the biggest weighing 227 tons, to Rotterdam in collaboration with the CMA CGM group. The shipment was handled with the help of a floating crane from Drydocks World, a DP World Company, and was loaded on two consecutive sailings. Fujairah gets steel traffic boost
