Moran Iron Works, Watermaster to build Finnish-engineered dredge

Moran Iron Works and Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Watermaster North America have partnered to manufacture the Finnish-engineered AMD 5000 amphibious dredging machine in North America.

The Watermaster machine has been sold worldwide for 30 years but not in the U.S. due to the Jones Act. Because the AMD 5000 is now made in the U.S., it is a fully Jones Act-compliant vessel and is now available for purchase throughout the U.S.

Metal Shark, Sea Machines to build new autonomous vessel for USCG

Diversified Marine to build two more tugs for Brusco

Brusco Tug & Barge, Longview, Wash., has signed an agreement to build a pair of Robert Allan Ltd. designed 78’x40’x14′ tugs at Diversified Marine Inc. All American to build new 50′ NOAA research vessel

All American Marine (AAM) has been awarded the contract by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to construct a 50′ aluminum research catamaran for the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary.
