ECSA Mandates Bunker Suppliers To Sell Zero-carbon Fuels

Industry body the European Community Shipowners’ Associations (ECSA) has recommended that the EU makes it mandatory for bunker suppliers to sell zero-carbon fuels as it starts to charge the shipping industry for its carbon emissions, reports Ship & Bunker.

Global energy major Shell has been named as Singapore’s top bunker supplier by volume in 2020.
The demise of Hin Leong subsidiary Ocean Bunkering Services appearing to benefit a number of the largest global oil firms.
