Cavotec secures US$5 million shore power order with global shipping firm

Cavotec has signed a US$5 million order for shore power with a global shipping company, which includes a number of PowerFit shore power units, enabling vessels to connect to shore power while docked.

The delivery of the machines is scheduled for later this year.

Cavotec wins two orders for container crane electrification

The Swiss cleantech company Cavotec has won two orders from the crane manufacturer Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries (ZPMC), to provide major ports in China and the US with motorised cable reel electrification systems for container cranes.

The total value of the two orders amounts to more than US$1.47 million (1.3€ million), according to a statement.

Cavotec to supply Evergreen, Seaspan and Capital with shore power connection systems

The supplier of cleantech systems Cavotec has been awarded three orders for its shore power connection systems by the marine equipment manufacturer Samsung Heavy Industries.

Scandinavian ports choose Cavotec’s automated mooring system

The Switzerland-headquartered cleantech company, Cavotec has agreed with two Scandinavian ports for installing its automated mooring system.

MSC and Samsung Heavy Industries select Cavotec’s shore power systems

The Swiss cleantech company, Cavotec has won a series of orders in the second quarter with a total value of €5 million (US$6.1 million) to equip the world’s largest new-build container ships with ShorePower systems.
