China to take countermeasures in case of U.S. tariffs hikes

China pledged to take countermeasures if the United States goes ahead with 10 percent tariff hikes on 300 billion U.S. dollars worth of Chinese goods.

Taiwanese cargo vessel collides with unidentified Chinese vessel

According to the Taiwanese Coast Guard, a Taiwanese cargo vessel collided with a Chinese navy ship off Kinmen on Wednesday, causing minor damage to both ships. The Taiwanese vessel was damaged, but there were no injuries reported.
