Coronavirus: 41 additional passengers test positive on Diamond Princess

Follow the latest updates of the outbreak on our timeline.

Another 41 passengers have tested positive for the coronavirus on board the Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan, bringing the total number of cases to 61.

The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare stated that the 41 out of 171 new test results had been confirmed to be positive. Till now, the testing has been completed for 273 people.
