A huge crane came crashing down onto a dock after a container ship careered into it. The catastrophic shipping incident took place on 14 July afternoon in the port of Semrang, the capital city of Central Java in Indonesia.

Footage of a large construction crane resting on a luxury cruise ship in the Bahamas has gone viral, racking up more than 495,000 views on Twitter as of 6:30 a.m. ET, reports newsweek.

What happened?

The video of the Royal Caribbean company’s Oasis of the Seas, soon after the crane apparently smashed into the vessel was shared by local paper Bahamas Press.

The ship was docked at the Grand Bahama shipyard in Freeport for maintenance, so no passengers were on board.

Large Crane Crashes onto Gigantic Cruise Ship

According to Wesh2news, a large construction crane fell onto Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas cruise.

What happened?

On April 1, the incident happened in the Bahamas when the cruise ship was drydocked. Eight people were injured, but no passengers were on the ship at the time of the crash.
