India’s merchant ship remains stuck at China’s northern ‘Jingtank’ port since June, reports TheHitavada. 

What is the reason?

Indian Merchant ship ‘Jag Anand’, belonging to a Mumbai-based company Great Eastern Shipping Limited, is stuck in ‘Jingtank’ port since June. 

The ship is loaded with around 1.70 lakh tonnes of Australian coal and is being stopped by Chinese port administration to unload cargo.
