Highest Number of Seafarer Abandonment in 2020

Abandonment of seafarers is on the rise this year, exacerbated by the pandemic, with reported cases at a record high of more than double the 2019 levels, reports the Lloyd’s List

Seafarer Welfare: RightShip Tags with Human Rights at Sea!!

RightShip partners with Human Rights at Sea.
Their priority lies in improving the seafarer welfare.
Right Ship is the first commercial maritime industry organisation to officially engage with Human Rights at Sea.
Human Rights at Sea launched the first version of the ‘Geneva Declaration of Human Rights at Sea’, in 2019.
Efforts will be jointly taken to end human rights abuses on our oceans based on the Declaration.
