Singapore prohibits crew change for seafarers with recent travel history to India

According to India’s Directorate General of Shipping, India now provides 9.35% of the global seafarers and rank thirds in the list of seafarer-supplying nations.

However, with coronavirus surging in India, the Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced that from April 23, 2021, 2,359 hours, all long-term pass holders and short-term visitors with recent travel history (including transit) to India within the last 14 days will not be allowed entry into Singapore, or transit through Singapore.
