MSC and Ellerman sign slot agreement for Atlantic routes

Ellerman City Liners and MSC have signed an agreement, according to which, Ellerman will utilise a combination of MSC capacity and its own independent vessel between ports in ScanBaltic, Northern Europe and the Atlantic Coast of the United States.

The agreement includes a set weekly volume, with an option for Ellerman to increase as required. The deal covers both dry and reefer containers and will commence on or around 1 January 2024 from the port of Klaipeda in Lithuania.

Ellerman City Liners includes Bilbao in new Europe-USEC service

The Port of Bilbao will be included in Ellerman City Liners’ new service connecting Europe and the United States East Coast.

The new service, which will commence in mid-February, will have the following rotation:

Bilbao (Spain), Antwerp (Belgium), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Hamburg (Germany), Tilbury (UK), New York (US), Wilmington (US), Jacksonville (US)

The vessels of the British shipping company will dock at the CSP Iberian Bilbao terminal.

Ellerman City Liners intra-Europe service arrives at UK’s PD Ports

The first vessel on Ellerman City Liners’ new Iberia North Europe Express (iNEX) direct service called PD Ports on 29 November.

The dedicated express service connects Spain and Portugal with the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

Ellerman City liners launches new Europe-US service

UK-based Ellerman City Liners is now offering direct container service at the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) to and from three destinations in Europe.

Ellerman will begin calling the SSA Jacksonville Container Terminal at JAXPORT’s Blount Island Marine Terminal with the arrival of the container ship SC Mara scheduled in late December.

According to JAXPORT, the bi-weekly service offers premium transit times of 13 to 17 days from North Europe to Jacksonville.
